Refund policy

Because our products are fresh, perishable food items, we are not able to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind once an order has been dispatched. This is for food safety and hygiene reasons.

This does not affect your statutory rights where products are damaged, faulty or incorrect.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

To help us resolve things quickly, please email shop@broderickshandmade.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

If a replacement or refund is approved, we’ll confirm this by email and let you know what happens next.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Because our products are perishable food items, all food products are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases where they are damaged, faulty or incorrect on arrival.

We also do not accept returns for:

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

European Union 14-day cooling off period

Under EU law, the standard 14-day cooling off period does not apply to perishable food products once they have been dispatched.

However, you are still entitled to a remedy if your items are faulty, damaged, or not as described. In those cases, please contact us at shop@broderickshandmade.com

Refunds (where applicable)

For approved cases (e.g. damaged, faulty, or incorrect items), we will notify you once we’ve reviewed your claim and let you know if a refund has been approved.

If a refund is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
